Hi There, I'm Shelley
I began my midwifery career in 1999, and for the past 23 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting and advising parents throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. Since 2010, I’ve been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), assisting countless mothers with breastfeeding. I’ve helped with common issues such as mastitis and latch and position difficulties, as well as more complex challenges like NICU cases, cleft lip, relactation, and tandem/multiple feeding.
My experience spans diverse cultures, religions, and age groups. I spent 17 years in the Middle East, where I had the honor of caring for members of the Bahrain Royal Family, as well as employees of the oil company and their families. Regardless of personal beliefs or circumstances, I bring the same passion, commitment, and expertise to everyone I care for and teach.
For the past four years, I have been teaching and training amazing students around the world to become Breastfeeding Peer Supporters. I am incredibly proud and excited to bring this transformative training to you so that together we can enhance the breastfeeding journeys of parents everywhere.
