I have been a nurse for the last 15 years and I have been given the opportunity to work through the many fields in nursing, from community to hospital settings, in medical, surgical fields, in adult and pediatric nursing, with experience in working in a NICU, paediatric based ward (care dedicated to children aged 0-12 months), and have extensive experience of working in obstetric theatre and recovery, where I am currently a Junior Sister Nurse. Obstetric is the passion of my soul and the field I have always wanted to be in- supporting mums, their babies, the family unit, is what brings joy and satisfaction as a nurse and a person. I am currently completing the Lactation Consultant Course and the Maternity Nurse Educator with Antenatal UK, with hopes to fully engage my life in continuing to support mothers and babies, now outside the hospital field.
